Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This policy explains what happens with your data on this website and in MovieStudio, the desktop app that makes the videos of 7 Colors 1 Ending. In short: we collect as little as possible and never sell or share personal data.
This website
The website has no accounts, no cookies, no advertising and no trackers that follow you across websites. The videos are calculated in your own browser.
Kept in your own browser
- Your choices (world, color set or own colors, characters, animals, background color of the page, language and sound) are remembered in your browser's local storage, on your own device only. You can remove them by clearing the site data in your browser.
- When the website cannot reach its database, it keeps a short list of your own videos there too, to show "What did others pick?" for you alone.
Kept on the website
- The run log: when a video starts, the website stores the time (UTC), the settings of the video (seed, world, color set and your own colors if you made them, characters and animals), the color you picked, the color that finished its arc first, the place of your color and the language of the page. Later it adds the time the video was watched for more than 80%, and the time it was shared, if so. It stores no IP address, name, e-mail address or details of your device, so a run cannot be traced back to you. The totals are shown to everyone in "What did others pick?"; the maker uses the log to make better videos.
- Coin pot: when a video ends, the number of coins it adds (8 to 12, plus 5 for a right guess) is added to the shared total. Nothing else is sent with it.
- Messages: if you leave a message, we store the text, the name you give (optional), the language and the time. Only the maker reads messages; they are not shown on the website and are deleted when they are no longer needed. Please do not put private information in a message.
- To stop one visitor from flooding the run log, the coin pot or the messages, the website briefly keeps a scrambled code made from your IP address and the date (a hash). It is not your IP address, cannot be turned back into it, and is deleted after one day.
Sharing
- The video file you share is made in your own browser, on your own device; it is never uploaded to us. Where it goes is up to you and the app you share it with.
- A shared link contains only the settings of the video (seed, world, colors, characters, animals and the color you picked).
Others
- Our hosting provider, the Dutch company mijn.host, handles the technical traffic needed to deliver the pages (such as IP addresses in short-lived server logs) to keep the website working and safe. We do not use any analytics service: the numbers we look at come only from the run log described above.
- Links to YouTube and TikTok open those platforms; their own privacy policies apply there.
- This website asks for no money and handles no payments.
MovieStudio and TikTok
MovieStudio is a private desktop app, used only by the creator of the account @7colors1ending. It can connect to TikTok (TikTok Login Kit and Display API) to show how the creator's own videos perform. With the creator's permission it reads:
- user.info.basic and user.info.profile: the display name, username and avatar of the connected account, to show which account is linked;
- user.info.stats: the number of followers, following, likes and videos of that account;
- video.list: the creator's own public videos with their views, likes, comments and shares.
This data:
- is read only. The app never posts, edits or deletes anything on TikTok;
- is stored only on the creator's own computer, never on a server of ours;
- is never sold, shared with others or used for advertising;
- is only about the creator's own account, not about other TikTok users.
The connection can be ended at any time with Disconnect in the app, or in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions. The stored data can then be removed from the computer.
YouTube
In the same way, MovieStudio can read the statistics of the creator's own YouTube channel with read-only access (YouTube API Services). That data also stays on the creator's computer. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Children
This website does not ask for personal data and has no accounts. Children should ask a parent before leaving a message.
Your rights
If you left a message and want it removed, or have a question about your data or this policy, contact us and mention roughly when you sent it. The run log holds nothing that points to a person, so we cannot find "your" runs in it; your choices in your own browser you can remove yourself.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
